This video explains some of the underlying dangers of SOPA/PIPA. It is very well produced and brings out some of the following points:
- The US is pushing one internet to other countries, yet trying to censor it’s own
- Some users will try to use foreign DNS – Domain Name Servers – and may get their bank or other private data hacked
- This does not protect the people, but rather the corporations
- SOPA has had little news coverage because the media industries are the same people who support this bill
